INTERNET DIRECT Executive Vice President Resigns
PHOENIX, Ariz., USA (October 22nd, 1996) - Internet Direct, Inc. of Phoenix, Arizona has accepted the resignation of William Fisher, Executive Vice President, Director and shareholder, effective October 21st, 1996. Fisher will be officially leaving today to pursue other opportunities. Fisher remained as a Director and Vice President of the corporation during the transition from his management to insure the stability of the Company.
Fisher joined the company as a consultant in the summer of 1992 and was hired as Business Manager in September 1992. He has worked with Internet Direct as both Vice President and Business Manager during the development of the Company's dial-up, digital dedicated, corporate software and web hosting services.
"I have great pride in my accomplishments here at Internet Direct. Mike and I took this company from a struggling local start-up Internet Service Provider with two people to an International web hosting and Internet consulting firm of over 50 hardworking people and several million dollars in yearly revenue," said Fisher. "It was tough to make the decision to leave, but it's time for me to move on to other challenges and opportunities."
"We're sorry to see him go, but we respect his desire to branch out and take on new projects," said Michael March, President of Internet Direct. "It's that drive that brought him to Internet Direct in the first place."
When asked about his future plans, Fisher responded, "I've had several inquiries to manage operations for technology companies. I will be taking time to evaluate my options and pursue personal projects which have been left unfinished for several years. I'm excited about some of the prospects for working with international consulting firms to develop Internet services in other countries."
Fisher added, "I wish the Company well and will continue to watch the meteoric growth of this fast-paced, highly competitive firm built on bleeding-edge technology. Mike March is a genius of Internet forecasting, and I'll be watching him closely for the Internet's next explosive product."
