INTERNET DIRECT TO DEMO INTERNET WEB TECHNOLOGY

Internet Direct Provides Internet Connectivity to Motorola at ComDex/Fall '95 Vegas Show

PHOENIX, Ariz., USA (August 20th, 1995) - For the second year in a row, Internet Direct, Inc. of Phoenix, Arizona has been invited to demonstrate new WEB Server technologies at ComDex/Fall '95 and provide Internet services for Motorola, Inc. at the trade show to a world-wide audience. Internet Direct shall also be providing demonstrations of its newly released I-Site Internet servers at the ComDex Trade Show.

Motorola Semiconductor has commissioned Internet Direct to develop new information search and display technologies for Motorola's Electronic Data Delivery and Power Computer Group Divisions. Upon completion of the initial phases of these projects for Motorola, Internet Direct has again been invited to present these new technologies and Motorola Corporate visions - which can be seen on the Internet at http://design-net.com - at the Fall ComDex '95 show.

This is the world's largest computer expotech with over 250,000 people attending the Las Vegas, Nevada show. Bill Gates of Microsoft shall be the keynote speaker for this year's ComDex show. Internet Direct will be presenting at ComDex/Fall '95 from November 13th through the 17th.

Internet Direct was also awarded the provisioning of all the TCP/IP Internet connectivity services for Motorola's multi-million dollar display booths at ComDex. This includes the greatly expanded Power PC display sections Motorola has built for the ComDex show. "We have developed a good relationship with many divisions of Motorola, which makes it a natural for us to provide their connectivity and web design and programming services," said Mike March, President of Internet Direct.

For Motorola's Internet connection during ComDex, Internet Direct is using a customized high-speed router to connect Motorola to the worldwide Internet.

Internet Direct is a large regional Internet provider and developer of the I-Site Internet servers, providing Internet connectivity for businesses and firms around the United States, including such companies as Arizona Public Service Co. and the Biosphere II project in Southern Arizona.

The WEB has the appearance of an electronic magazine, with images, text, video and sound available on-line for viewing by anyone with access to the Internet, via local provider or a national network such as CompuServe, America On-Line or the new Microsoft Network.

By creating the ability to convert existing information databases to a Web-viewable format, Internet Direct has created a tremendous new resource for companies to deliver data to clients and vendors without extreme added costs. Motorola estimates that it will save millions of dollars in materials transmission costs through the use of the Internet. These system created by Internet Direct are capable of delivering many types of data, from part specification and diagrams to prices and order information, including secure transactions and encryption.

It is projected that Internet Direct's WEB server technologies could decrease by over 100,000 pounds the amount of printed materials Motorola Semiconductor delivers each year. Internet Direct has assisted companies like Motorola in moving one step closer to pure electronic data delivery systems, a goal Motorola and many other corporations are firmly committed to.

Founded in February 1993 by current President Michael March, Internet Direct, Inc. is the oldest public Internet provider in Arizona. Internet Direct has been successful in penetrating the demanding markets of Fortune 500 and 100 companies: large multi-national telecommunications corporations such as Space-Tel s.a.l. in Lebanon and Europe; international joint-venture agreements with McDonnell Douglas Aerospace in the United Arab Emirates and other countries in the Gulf States region; the hundred million dollar Biosphere II project in Southern Arizona; the electric power provider for the United States' 8th largest city, Arizona Public Service Co.; on-going projects with four separate divisions of Motorola; integration, custom TCP/IP systems development, connectivity and web services for PCS Health Systems, which was recently purchased by the pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly for over US$4 Billion.
